Bad Blogger, Shame on Me.

Okay, so I'd been slacking for a while. And I've gone back and filled in the summer months with pictures and stories about our family. So if you thought you were caught up...well, you're not. Sorry about that, I'll try to do better.

You're supposed to carve them...NOT THROW THEM!

We will find you, you pumpkin slinging punks! You owe us and our favorite neighbor a new mailbox.

***UPDATE: Pumpkin slinger caught! Amazing.***

It's Finally Hat Weather

Look at her posing for the camera, I'm pretty sure daddy taught her that trick! Thanks Aunty Aubley for the cute accessories, we love them (and you!).

Good Morning Mommy

This is what I get to wake up to every morning. Isn't she beautiful! I just can't get enough of her.

Mommy & daddy love you so very much Luella.

Turn on the TV

Leave her alone in a room with a television and she'll turn to watch it, roll over even! But try to get her to roll over for anything else and it isn't going to happen...

Adventures in Eating

Can you eat with your hand and foot in your mouth? Well my daughter can!

So it's getting a little messy. I'm not sure yet if it's my fault or that Luella hasn't yet perfected the skill of keeping the food in her mouth. Either way, it makes for lots of laughs and some cute pictures.
We've started with the orange foods; sweet potatoes are her favorite. As you can see below, tonight we went through some sweet potatoes, carrots and a little peaches before she was so full she could hardly move.
As you can see, my hand looked almost as bad as her face...this is because she likes her sweet potatoes and peaches soo much that with every bite she grabs a hold of me to get every last drop!

This is what 30 looks like!

Happy Birthday Daddy! We sent him on a scavenger hunt for his gift, a DeWalt miter saw. At first Jon asked me not to buy anything, then a few weeks later he was asking for a truck, so we (my parents and his) figured a tool was a happy medium!
