Diary Days

Last year we went to the Dairy Days parade and we got free chocolate milk which was enough to keep us coming back! This year I thought it would be fun if our little family had cow costumes, so I started sewing (by the way, I don't know how to sew). Elway's outfit was so tight he could hardly walk. He thinks he's in trouble when we put it on him.

Good Hair Day

This morning it was chilly in the house, so I decided to blow dry Luella's hair. When I was finished all her hair was standing straight up and I was laughing so hard I had to set her down for fear I would drop her. I was still laughing when I took the pic, so she joined in.

Spoiled?

Luella's favorite place to sleep is in my arms, I'm really trying to break that habit... but it is my favorite place for her to sleep too! If she can't be in mommy or daddy's arms, uncle Nicolas' arms will do just fine. Here Nick is, studying for finals while putting little Luella to sleep. I'm sure you'll get tired of reading this, but I really do think I have the most amazing little brother!

Notice poor neglected Elway, patiently waiting his turn for some love. Eventually Elway just laid his head on Nick's feet and fell asleep. So sad.

Smiles for Grandma

My mom is keeping track of how many times Luella smiles at her, this time it was caught on camera! Generally when I pull up at my mom's house, she is out the front door before the car even parks, on her way to the back seat to pick up her grandbaby and get her smile. Just in case you were wondering, my mom's record is 4 smiles before Luella was even out of her car seat- pretty impressive! Luella loves her grandma and grandpa.

Karate Chop!

I taught her those moves... Sometimes she uses them on me when I don't feed her fast enough. All tuckered out after her karate lesson.
