Playing with Ditty!

Luella just LOVES her kitty or 'ditty' as she calls him. We've gone camping a few times and upon our return Luella and Larry are reunited and both are always overjoyed to see the other. Don't let these photos fool you, Larry was purring in all of them. Moe (our black kitty) is a little larger, as you'll see below that doesn't stop Luella from trying to carry him around.

Camping with the Vineyard

Each year the Vineyard staff heads off to the mountains for some rest and relaxation together. This year Jon was able to get some time off to join us. We had a great time playing in the mountains. Mommy forgot to pack Luella's playpen (not that it would have fit in our 2-man tent) so Lulu didn't get much sleep this weekend; we realize we need to find new sleeping arrangements before we try this again. We shared our campsite with Nicole and her BIG doggie, Morello. Every chance she got, Luella was hugging the doggie and squealing with excitement.

Paddle Boating

Today we decided to go paddle boating- we packed up some slightly old hamburger buns and headed out. In no time we had a swarm of ducks and geese around our boat. Luella loved it! She even enjoyed snacking on the ducky food.

Poor Larry

'Poor Larry' is something we say regularly around our house. Luella just loves her kitty or 'ditty' as she calls him. She knows she isn't supposed to touch Larry but she can't help herself (I understand the temptation, he's pretty cute). When we hear Luella giggling from the other room we know we need to run to Larry's rescue!
