Yard Sale

Okay, so I'm not a 'yard saler' but I found a steal today! I was driving through my parents neighborhood saw the care bear costume, flipped my car around, hopped out, grabbed it, paid, ran back to the car to showed Luella (we were both REALLY excited) and drove off. My mom went to the yard sale later and the owner actually told my mom this story about a crazy lady on a mission (me)...apparently it was funniest thing she had ever seen!

So now we're set for October 31. Be on the lookout for an adorable care bear on your doorstep.

Big Creek & Birthday

I officially turned 28 while camping in Big Creek with our family, Grandma and Grandpa I and Uncle Robbin. The weather was beautiful - we went hiking, picked huckleberries (yummy!), rode a 4-wheeler, saw lots of wild animals and I even heard a bear. What a peaceful, relaxing way to enjoy a birthday.

Below is the Big Creek runway...we even got to watch a plane take off!

Here is the Big Creek fire department - a note inside the fire truck read 'do not drive, brakes don't work' - that was comforting.

Raviolis

Oh the joys of learning new things! Luella is well on her way to using a fork and spoon like a big girl, in the mean time most meals are VERY messy. There are times I just stand and stare at her in awe of the mess, not sure which part of her to start cleaning first.
