HAPPPPY BIRTHDAAAY!!

We can hardly believe our Luella is turning one, happy first birthday baby girl! We had a wonderful party. We had family and friends over to celebrate her first year, even Great Grandma Laura flew in from Vancouver and Great Grandma Audrey drove over from Oregon.

We snacked on care bear cupcakes and pink lemonade. Our party girl wore an adorable care bear dress made by Grandma. There were balloons, puffy flowers and a rainbow hanging from the ceiling as well as CARE BEARS!!

Time for some presents...

Our little girl had a wonderful day, but she was definitely tired by the end. I want to say thank you all to everyone who was present at her party. It meant so much to Jon and I to have family around to celebrate our precious little girls first year of life. We love her and we love you all too!

Let the birthday preperation begin...

It's all about carebears and cupcakes for our sweet baby girl! I took an entire week off from work to prepare for the celebration of her first year of life.

Halloween in April?

Daddy is now watching Luella on Tuesdays while Mommy works. Don't let Daddy fool you we have a closet full of clothes, but this morning he decided that Luella wanted to wear her Halloween costume from last October. Honestly, at the rate she's growing I was shocked that it still fit her.

Easter Baby

Baby Luella in her adorable handmade dress (thanks Grandma) and bunny ears enjoyed her first Easter! We spent the morning at the Vineyard where Luella used her new found skill of clapping while we sang. Later she opened her first Easter basket which included animal cookies, BuBbLEs, a book and her first dolly. We discovered that Luella LOVES the bubbles! These photos were taken while her and Daddy tried to catch them as they floated by.
