I catch myself looking at this picture, laughing and wondering what is going through her little head? Nearly her whole life she has been cooped up inside and finally it's beginning to be warm enough to venture out - I'm not so sure she is happy about this change...

Mrs. Buttersworth

Luella loves to play with anything that isn't a toy, so it's fitting that the pantry is her favorite hangout. One morning while I was making breakfast I peaked in to see what she was doing and caught her licking our Mrs. Butterworth's bottle...yumm syrup! She was pretty proud of herself and the sticky mess she made.

Leopard Prints Already!

Grandma got Luella a leopard print vest awhile back and I thought these pictures were too cute not to share! We were on our way out the door to see Daddy, but had to stop for a photo shoot (that happens a lot around our house).

Agent Jon

Daddy's a real estate agent!!! After months of schooling and studying, Jon just passed his licensing exams and is ready for business. We're so proud of him! At this point he is still working full time for another employer so this will be his side job (or hobby..?) for now. Jon and I enjoy looking for great opportunities in real estate...so well see what that means for our future...

Spring is FINALLY here!

This was our first trip to the park near our house with Luella! How exciting for us! We walked to the park in our brand new baby jogger, pushed her on the swings and took her (and the dog) down the slide...then rushed home to warm back up! It was a quick trip, hopefully future trips will be a little warmer. Hurry up Spring!!

Um, is that chocolate pudding on your face? Just for the record, it was my mom who gave her the first taste of chocolate. I believe she was 4 months old when she had Sees candy for the first time!

Laundry's Fun, I Promise!

Teaching our little Cinderella how to do some laundry...so she can take over someday!! It was torture watching her favorite green blanket in the washing machine. It was pretty close to nap time, initially she started laughing when she saw it (which is the typically response when she sees her blanket) then she proceeded to hit the washer window...we had to leave the room.
