Finally after months of anticipation Halloween arrived and Luella got to dress up in her Cheer Bear costume. Before we left to go trick-or-treating with Grandma and Grandpa Icenhower we taught Luella how to say something that vaguely resembled 'trick-or-treat' and then we were off!
My mom (or should I say The Cat in the Hat) had a Halloween party for her daycare a couple days before Halloween and since there were so many cute costumes Luella was able to pretend to be a chicken, Minnie Mouse and a fairy too!

Pumpkin Carving
Well we waiting until the last minute (Halloween night) to carve our pumpkin this year and to be honest we only cut the top off and gave up. But that was enough to have a lot of fun and get really messy! Luella started our carving session by hugging and kissing her pumpkin and then she colored on him with her crayons. Daddy took over after that. We didn't play for long before the slimy pumpkin was too much for Luella to handle so we gave her a bath in the kitchen sink.

Pumpkin Patch
We went to pick out our pumpkins today at the Corn Maze in Boise. We were able to slide down a giant slide, dig in a corn box (aka sand box), shoot corn cobs at hay bails, jump on a huge bouncy balloon in the ground, go on a pony ride and see some animals....oh and pick out our pumpkins! What a fun day.

Visiting the Farm
We flew to Great Grandma's farm this week, just the girls (my mom, Luella and I). It was a great trip! Luella loved watching the chickens, cows and horses roam around outside, not to mention the GIANT Rotweiler. We shopped till we dropped - we were able to go to Ikea for the first time, what an experience! It was a great trip, hope we can visit again soon. We love you grandma!
