At 9 mos Luella weighs over 17 lbs, has 5 teeth, says 'ba', 'ma ma ma' and 'da da da' (she recently learned to whisper 'da da da'), crawls and stands, understands Daddy and carebear (were working on ball and Mommy).
Her favorite things are pulling the dogs ears, change the receiver channels so we can't hear the t.v., Daddy pretending to be a hop-hop beatboxer (hilarious, by the way) and watching the cat attack Jon (this might just make her laugh the hardest).
She is adorable, we love her more than anything on this earth!

Uh Oh, Where's Mommy?
Here is Luella's first official day at Grandma's house/daycare while Mommy and Daddy work. Both Grandma's are watching Luella for a few hours a day while I'm at work and it seems Luella is really enjoying the time she spends them (unless they are deleting the pictures of her crying...just kidding!).
This lucky little girl is showered with love all day long!

Daddy Time
I'm sure I've said this before, but there is something so beautiful about watching a Daddy with his little girl. Jon and Luella adore each other. Luella lights up when Daddy comes home from work in the evenings. She kicks and squeals, she smiles and squints, she laughs...her whole body expresses the joy she is feeling.
Here is just a glimps of how they spend their evening together.

Three Teeth...a Little Much.
Our poor baby girl is cutting her three top teeth all at once. She handled the last two teeth really well. So well, we really didn't know she was cutting them until they had come through. Three teeth at once is a little much and it's showing! She is hardly taking naps and crying all the time. Hopefully this goes by fast; we want to have our happy baby girl back...

The Pink Spoon
Okay, here's the story behind the infamous 'pink spoon'. We came home from my parents house Christmas day with a box filled with all our (mainly Luella's) presents. At the bottom of the box is an old pink spoon (albeit a little dirty too). We assumed the spoon slipped into our Christmas box by accident so we left it in the living room to return to my mom at a later date.
Luella spotted the pink spoon....
So I gave it to her. The spoon was a little dirty and shortly after handing it to Luella Jon asked me to take it away. So I did. Luella then proceeded to crawl up me in an attempt to get her pink spoon back. Had I know what I do know, I'm not sure I would have given her the spoon (after washing it off of course). That silly pink spoon became her favorite toy. She neglects the cool 'Animal Farm' with lights and music, her drum set, her dollies, her teething rings...when the pink spoon comes into the room she smiles, sometimes even laughs. All I can say is 'really?'.

LOST
Can I just say, I can't wait for LOST to start again! All my questions will soon be answered, or so the writers say. As much as I love this show, I'm looking forward to this final season for one reason; I can then sit on my couch for hours on end and watch all 6 seasons to try and figure out the **** is going on.
Brilliant.
Brilliant.

She's Standing!!
Lu Lu is learning to stand... she isn't very good at it and has lots of bumps to prove that. Poor baby girl. She has learned however that when she falls she needs to look at us to determine the extent of her injuries. We try to laugh (or at least smile) and she usually smiles back if it wasn't too bad.
These are pictures of the gate at the top of our stairs, it was installed just in time. Jon actually told me he tightened the gate so much he thought it might break the banister (so he loosened it a bit). We just want our baby girl to be safe.
